Introduction and organisation
Principles of geothermal energy
Deep geothermal energy
Surface geothermal energy
Risks when constructing a plant (drilling) and measures for risk reduction
Effects of temperature change in the aquifer and licensing criteria that can be derived from this
Influence of civil engineering on groundwater
Use of soft gels
Evaluation of the environmental properties of building materials, here water bodies
Exam preparation
Exam with LV 2
The students know the risks of a geothermal system, especially for the groundwater near the surface. They know how to counter these risks and can dimension a small geothermal plant.
The exam will cover the content of the courses Applied Hydrogeology and Tracer Hydrogeology together. The requirements will be announced.
assignment
