Summer semester 2024: welcome and information
Dear first-year students in the summer semester 2024, welcome to the Department of Earth Sciences! Even though you will be immersed in the regular courses right away, we would like to welcome you personally and give you some information about your chosen degree programme (see programme below and dates in the info box). You will start with the courses of the second semester. In addition to the regular courses, your lecturers will offer you the introductory course "Elements of Geology" in the first weeks of the semester to familiarise you with some of the terms and concepts of geosciences. We hope our programme will make it easier for you to start your studies. We look forward to getting to know you in person during the introduction programme!
IMPORTANT: at the beginning of your studies, you must attend the fire drill/lab security instructions (s. dates). Only with the proof of attendance you are authorized to have access to the laboratories of the University of Bremen.
