Stereographic projection of planes and linear structures
Geometric relations in the Schmidt Net: angles & planes
Geometric relations in the Schmidt Net: apparent dip & cones/small circles
Geometric relations in the Schmidt Net: rotations & complex operations
Klausur (schriftlich)

Competences:

Students know to identify tectonic elements, to interpret kinematic indications and to recognize tectonic environments. They are able to plot structual geology data, determine their spatial relationships and to quantitatively analyse them.
