Basics of Biology

Lecturers: Jan-Hendrik Hehemann

Content:

The course will cover basic concepts of biology, with emphasis on cell biology, microbiology, physiology and ecology.

Competences:

The students will obtain basic knowledge of biological processes relevant for Earth and Ocean Sciences and for the understanding of global biogeochemical cycles, fossils and their application.

Written examination.
