Structure

Basic training 1st to 3rd semester

  • Fundamentals in Mathematics and Natural Sciences
  • Fundamentals in marine geosciences

Specialization subjects 4th to 6th semester

  • Choose 3 out of the following specialization subjects: Sedimentology, Paleontology, Geoinfomatics, Geochemistry, Paleoceanography, Geodynamics, Exploration Geophysics (link to module and course descriptions)

Accompanying competence training

  • field trips, ship-based trainings
  • Digital competences (programming, modeling, GIS, etc.)
  • Internship, complementary competences (e.g., languages, law)
