Veranstalter: Heather Johnstone, Jens Lehmann
Working in small groups, the students will obtain hands-on training in the application of methods needed to document paleontological findings, including sample preparation, visual documentation, description and identification of fossils.
1) Practical knowledge of methods for preparation and visualisation of fossils
2) Ability to identify, describe, and formally taxonomically treat fossil material
The grade counts 50 % to the module grade and is based on a written report produced by the students individually or in small groups.
