Solid State Chemistry
Lecturers: Thorsten Gesing
The lecture covers different aspects of Advanced Solid State Chemistry. It is focused on research projects, scientific equipment and preparative problems.
Main tpoics are:
Description of crystalline solids
Methods used in solid state material science
Classes of compounds and materials
The lecture gives an deeper inside into solid state chemistry, the fundamental and advanced structural chemistry using actual research problems as teaching examples.
The course ends with a written module examination. The contents of all three courses will be examined.
