In-situ Technologies

Competences:

- understand basic principles of Cone Penetration Testing in static and dynamic mode
- understand the principles of marine temperature and heat flow measurements
- get to know other in-situ probes
- gain basic knowledge in comparing data from the above techniques to those from LWD and MWD in the Drilling/Logging class
- get introduced to case studies in these fields

Assessment:

- assessment of quality of the seminar talk, style of presentation, and performance during the discussion
