Engineering geology practicals
Lecturers: Matt Ikari, Stefan Kreiter
In the practical course, advanced knowledge of engineering geology is taught and, in addition, the writing of scientifically technically clean texts is worked on. It is about the understanding of stress, deformation and pore water pressure in the three-phase system soil with the elasticity theory, plasticity theory and more advanced material laws. Laboratory tests of undrained shear strength, oedometer, frame shear test and triaxial test are performed.
1) Independently determine advanced engineering geological parameters.
2) Prepare and evaluate engineering geological reports.
