Orientation Days

To gain acquaintancy with the University of Bremen and your study program all our bachelor- and master-beginners should attend the orientation week resp. days in the week before the lecture period starts. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with your new surroundings, meet your fellows, join gathering events with students and learn all what you need to know about your study program.

IMPORTANT: at the beginning of a Bachelor`s or Master`s program, you must attend the lab security instructions/fire drill (s. dates). Only with the participation proof you are authorized to have access to the laboratories of the University of Bremen.

orientation days for master beginners

will take place on October 10 and 11, 2024 (s. information). The orientation days for master students will consist of events in presence.

  • Wednesday, 2024-10-09: Bremen night-life, pub-crawl
  • Thursday, 2024-10-10: Welcome, introduction StudIP, guided tours, barbecue
  • Friday, 2023-10-11: Introduction to the study programs Applied and Marine Geosciences, module presentations, GEO - Cinema
  • Tuesday, 2024-10-15, 10am: Lab security instructions and fire drill (DE)
  • Wednesday, 2024-10-23, at 10 am: Lab security instructions and fire drill (EN)
