The term "General studies" comprises a series of lectures from various fields which will complement the materials chemistry and mineralogy study. These lectures are selected frm various fields as, e.g., business studies, languages, computing science, or even more general aspects like climate change or cultural studies. Prior to the start of the semester, the lectures to be selected by the students will be announced.

The students will obtain additional skills complementary to their main study.
