Selected examples (close to actual scientific work) of differnt synthesis methods will be practically trained and the products identified and characterized.

After finishing the practical class the students should have practiced:
• to name and use differnt kinds of solid state synthesis methods;
• to do X-ray and spectroscopic Phaseidentiofications;
• to valide the use of analytical methods to answer solid state specific open questions;

all experiments are finalized with a succesfull preparation of a protocol
