...until 07.09.2024: Explore Science - Climate and Environment - in Bremen

2024-09-06
Author: Dr. Ulrike Wolf-Brozio

From Thursday, September 5 to Saturday, September 7, everything in Bremen´s Bürgerpark, Marcusbrunnen, will revolve around climate and the environment. During the Explore Science experience days, children and young people can actively contribute to environmental protection by researching and experimenting on topics such as sustainability and climate change. In doing so, they learn about the complex interrelationships of nature in a fun way. All activities are free of charge and invite children to experience the world of science at first hand. Since 2006, the Klaus Tschira Foundation has been organizing the annual Explore Science experience days at Luisenpark Mannheim. The main aim is to give children and young people the opportunity to discover scientific phenomena for themselves. With Explore Science, the Klaus Tschira Foundation aims to awaken young people´s interest in scientific topics and promote networking between scientific institutions and schools. The Klaus Tschira Foundation has also been implementing this concept in Bremen since 2018. Explore Science will take place for the sixth time in Bremen from September 5 to 7, 2024. All nursery schools, schools and families from Bremen and the surrounding area are invited to discover everything to do with the topic of “Climate & Environment” in Bürgerpark. The offer for kindergarten children, school classes and families ranges from an interactive exhibition to numerous hands-on activities, workshops and stage shows to experimental lectures and competitions.
