Sarah Koopmann, research associate in the Department of Geochemistry and Hydrogeology, is awarded for her outstanding master thesis „Eisen- und Mangankonzentrationen im Grundwasser der Bremer Niederung – Analyse der beeinflussenden Prozesse“ (Iron and manganese concentrations in the groundwater of the Bremer Niederung - analysis of the controlling processes). The Hydrogeology Section of the German Geological Society awards the prize of 1500 euros once a year for the best master´s thesis with a hydrogeological topic.
