Many citizens of Bremen collected rocks, fossils and minerals during the year 2023 again. Therefore, in addition to the cozy get-together at the Christmas party, an "exhibit of the year" is awarded. It does not matter whether this comes from the Bremen area, distant regions of Europe or from overseas. The most interesting, most beautiful or best prepared piece will be chosen as "Weser GeoHighlight 2023" by those present and awarded a prize. In addition, the Geosammlung presents its most important new acquisitions of the year and the lecture program for 2024 is presented
