The 100th birthday of Dr. Thorwald Kruckow

Dr. Thorwald Kruckow worked from 1959 at the Überseemuseum in Bremen as a curator for the geosciences. Thus he is an important and influential person for the Geosciences Collection of the FB5. But also for the Geoscientific Working Group which he founded at the museum in 1958. Heinrich Kuhbier, his companion for many years, tells about the life of this person who inspired many participants of the working group for palaeontology.
