Werner Liebenberg has been working intensively with the fossils of Ursus spelaeus the cave bear in recent years. In its long history, the Geosciences Collection has collected, purchased numerous specimens of this impressive fossil. The lecture gives an insight into the long history of these animals and their connection to the Geoscientific Collections in Bremen.
