This lecture series examines aspects of coasts, beaches, and shorelines from the perspective of various disciplines, thus facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue. What happens when different cultures, people, beings, elements, materials, and forces encounter each other in littoral spaces? What interdisciplinary interactions arise from the joint examination of these phenomena?
