Elda Miramontes García, professor at the Department of Geosciences and head of the working group "Sedimentology", receives the Roland Goldring Award 2020 of the British Sedimentology Research Group. This prize recognizes research contributions across the spectrum of sedimentology, and is aimed at scientists at the beginning of their academic careers. With this award, the BSRG recognizes Elda Miramontes García´s outstanding publication record, leading to a better understanding of sedimentation processes and deep-sea systems.
