Chemistry in Palaeontology

This lecture looks at the connection between chemistry and palaeontology. The speaker will discuss different concepts of chemistry and their application in the reconstruction of past worlds. Among other things, isotopes and their significance in absolute age determination as well as temperature and habitat reconstruction will be discussed. Finally, we dive into the exciting world of biomolecules in the geosciences.
