Above, an overview of section VG2. This was the most extensive section logged during the 2006 field season. What is apparent in the photo is how the outcrops are non-continuous (i.e. there is no one continuous cliff where all the units are exposed). The section was thus logged from several individual outcrops. Additionally,  the uppermost units were not completed: this is work for the next field season.

Strata investigated in section VG2 are Carboniferous in age.
