Fieldwork sites 
The field locations from field seasons 2004, 2005 and 2006 were in the Northeast of Spitsbergen, shown here on the field sections map. 


Formations investigated were the:

Billefjorden Group (Famennian-Visean),
Gipsdalen Group (Serpukhovian-Artinskian), and
Tempelfjorden Group (Artinskian-Kazanian).






Below, the three sections investigated in 2006 are described in more detail.
