Future work Using the samples collected in the field, thin sections will be made from selected samples and microfacies and micropalaeontologic investigations will be undergone. From this, depositional processes and sedimentary environments will be interpreted in connection with sea-level fluctuations. Geochemical analyses will also be undergone (stable isotopes d18O/d13C, XRF, XRD) using samples from the individual sections. The overall palaeogeographic development of the depositional area will be interpreted.
