PC room for students
On level 4 you will find a room with 8 Windows PCs.
They are reserved mainly for Bachelor and Master students to work on their homework or research projects.
Remote access to the PCs is possible temporarily. For the lecturers there is a reservation page for remote access to the PCs.
Lecture room with notebooks - level 1
One room with 20 notebooks is available for lectures in level 1.

One room with 20 notebooks is available for lectures in level 3.
Computer network
The wireless network `eduroam` is available nearly everywhere in the GEO building. You will need an account of your university. More info from ZFN.
If you connect your computer via cable you will get an IP address automatically (if your computer is configured to receive that). Please do NOT choose a fixed IP address without agreement of the responsible people of your group.
JupyterHub
Jupyter is a web-based open source software. Users can connect, share and reuse multimedia content within the framework of a notebook: Text, images, videos, interactive content and the special basic feature of executable programming code in various programming languages such as Python, R or Java.
