Colloquium on Friday, 18 August 2023

On Friday, August 18, 2023, we will have two more interesting guest lectures.
The first lecture will be given by Dr. Stephan Seibert from the Carl-von-Ossietzky University, Oldenburg in Germany. His research focuses on the study of hydrogeochemical processes in coastal sediments and the process and causes of coastal groundwater salinization. In his presentation, he will talk about "Advancing the process understanding of coastal hydrogeochemistry".

The second talk will be given by Dr. Felix Ortmeyer from the University of Greifswald in Germany. His research interests are in groundwater and drinking water quality, groundwater pollution, flow and transport processes, tracer testing, and climate change impacts on water resources. In his presentation, he will talk about "Groundwater nitrate pollution, climate change impacts and treatment".
