This year`s Girl`s Day Geosciences offer is suitable for girls and boys from 7th grade. It is an all-day offer:In the morning, students will saw rocks with us and have the opportunity to examine the rocks under a microscope. Other rocks will be broken down into their microscopic components and individual minerals will be separated. In the afternoon, we will open and examine sediment cores from the deep sea together. We will also look at small fossils from the sediments under the microscope. These fossils provide us with a lot of information about the climate of the past.
