Master project of Bremen students: one of Germany´s most beautiful Geotopes in 3D

In the project „Digital Geology“ of Deutsche Geologische Gesellschaft – Geologische Vereinigung e.V. (DGGV), the 30 most beautiful geotopes of Germany are shown in 3D. Until the 175-year-jubilee of DGGV in 2023, every month one geotope will be presented in 3D. Our students, Janin Scheplitz and Burhan Senyener, have worked on a 3D-model of the Piesberg stone quarry near Osnabruck in the frame of their Master project, that is shown as from 15th September on the website of „Digital Geology“. Watch it in any case!! By this, beneath the universities of Bonn, Greifswald, Jena and Hamburg, now also the University of Bremen is on the platform „Digital Geology“.
