Bachelor programs
We offer you a thematically broad introductory study program (Bachelor) in Geosciences with nine or from 2021/22 eight elective specializations and from 2021/22 another Bachelor's program Marine Geosciences with also eight elective specializations and English as the language of instructions:
Master programs
Have you already obtained a geoscientifc bachelor degree? Then you are also qualified to enter into a master program of the Department of Geosciences. We offer three different master programs:
- Master of Science Geosciences (mainly in German, is expiring)
- starting 2021/22: Master of Science Applied Geosciences (in English, partly German)
- Master of Science Marine Geosciences (in English), from 2021/22 on under new examination regulations
- Master of Science Materials Chemistry and Mineralogy (in English), from 2021/22 on under new examination regulations
