05-BGW-KM3 Working with Crystalline Materials

Learning Contents:

Project-based work on a topic related to mineralogy/crystallography, where either minerals or synthetic materials can be studied using different analytical methods; additionally, independent literature research will be carried out (under supervision) and the project results will be presented in a seminar talk.

Learning Outcomes, Targeted Competencies:

The students can carry out literature research on a defined topic from the field of mineralogy/crystallography;
The students can apply crystallographic and mineralogical analysis methods;
The students can explain and defend their approach and the results of their research project;
The students can present their results in a seminar talk.

Prior Knowledge:

Teilnahme "Kristalline Materialien verstehen" und "Kristalline Materialien untersuchen"
