Research modules
The research project typically consists of the synthesis of inorganic materials in crystalline or nano-crystalline form and their characterization or the preparation and modification of natural minerals and their characterization.
Requirements
The students should have a fundamental knowledge either in mineralogy and crystallography or in materials chemistry and they should be well trained in analytical methods.
Workload
360 hours / 12 CP
• time for lab work, exercises, and seminar (10 SWS x 14 weeks) 140 h
• time for preparation and post processing 220 h
Examination
